In Japan is a collection of 90 photographs captured while wandering around various cities in Japan in 2015 and 2019.Spanning everyday moments, humorous parallels and energetic street scenes, In Japan is the result of being led by the camera, and pulled, stretched and pushed down various alleys, streets, parks and spaces. It's an exploration into what unfolds when we trade expectation for observation and a simple desire to experience ordinary life as it unfolds.
